2002 Acura TL
Known for its sleek contours and modern styling, Acura
has presented the new 2002 Acura TL 3.2TL model line
up. Two models are offered this year, the Acura TL 3.2TL
and Acura TL 3.2TL Type S, both with four doors and
a seating capacity of five passengers.
A look under the hood will reveal an impressive six-cylinder
engine with SOHC, five-speed automatic transmission
and two-wheel front drive. The 3.2 TL boasts an aggressive
225 horsepower and all-season SBR tires, while the 3.2
TL blisters down the open highways at 260 horsepower
on all-season performance tires.
Safety is no afterthought, with such standards as ABS
brakes and traction control in every vehicle. Other
basics include driver side air bag, passenger side air
bag, side impact air bags, and both front and rear head
restraints. With the safety of youngsters in mind, each
vehicle has been equipped with child safety locks.
In addition to excellent performance and safety features,
the TL 3.2TL line up wouldn't be complete without an
avalanche of luxuries. Each model is built with air
conditioning, cruise/speed control, power door locks,
dual power mirrors, and power windows. Other standards
include a handy keyless entry system, a theft deterrent
system for your peace of mind, and an AM/FM stereo with
CD player to compliment the impressive package. Finishing
off the overall appearance and quality is stylish, soft
leather seating.
