2002 BMW 325 Overview

The BMW name stands for a lot of things: status, fine engineering and performance, luxury, and safety. These are just some of the reasons for the continued popularity of the long line up of BMW vehicles. Keeping close company with tradition, the new 2002 BMW 325 Sedan is sure to please those with the most demanding criteria.

Two models are available, the BMW 325i Sedan and BMW 325xi Sedan, each equipped with four doors and a seating capacity of five passengers within a spacious and comfortable interior.

Beginning with the BMW 325i Sedan, we see a pleasant mix of comforts and conveniences that include six-way adjustable front seats, leatherette upholstery, and an anti-theft AM/FM stereo with CD player. Upgrade packages offer leather seating, heated front seats, ski bag, folding rear seat, and other items.

Back to the standard package, the BMW 325i Sedan offers up automatic climate control, a keyless entry system, and four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and accessory phone controls. Conveniences range from cruise control to power windows, dual power mirrors, and power door locks.

BMW pays close attention to safety, with an advanced design complimented by several key factors. Standards listed are ABS brakes, head protection system, side impact air bags, and both driver and passenger depowered air bags. Front fog lights are also part of the base model package.

With regards to performance, the BMW 325i Sedan delivers 184 horsepower via a 2.5-litre DOHC, 24-valve six-cylinder engine with variable valve timing. It is rear wheel drive, and standard transmission is five-speed manual with automatic available as an option.

Each BMW 325i Sedan is equipped with s sport-tuned suspension, sixteen-inch alloy wheels and all-season tires, making for tight turns and a responsive ride.

The BMW 325i Sedan is available in a Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, and Sport Package.

Echoing all the performance, safety, and luxury features of the previous model, the BMW 325xi AWD Sedan adds the benefits of full-time four-wheel drive for extra control and power, especially when you encounter tough roads, snow, and mud. Other additions include ten-way adjustable front sport seats, fingertip cruise control on the three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, and seventeen-inch alloy wheels.
