2002 BMW Z3 2.5i Overview

Enter another world of performance and luxury with the new BMW Z3 2.5i Roadster. Not only does it handle and move like a world-class performance vehicle, it is graced with extraordinary comforts and conveniences. The convertible feature adds tremendous enjoyment to the package.

Beginning with a look under the hood, the BMW Z3 2.5i Roadster boasts a 2.5-litre, variable-timing DOHC, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower. Standard transmission is five-speed manual, with five-speed “Steptronic” transmission available as an option.

Front and rear anti-rolls bars, gas-pressurized strut-type front suspension and semi-trailing arm rear suspension, and dynamic stability control are just some of the handling and ride specifications. As well, the BMW Z3 2.5i Roadster is fitted with sixteen-inch alloys wheels with performance SBR tires.

In the safety department, BMW arms the Z3 2.5i Roadster with ABS brakes, halogen front fog lights, rollover bars, limited slip differential, and traction control. Other standards include a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, and side impact air bags.

Luxuries are bountiful in the new 2002 BMW Z3 2.5i Roadster, starting with a fully line soft top, keyless entry system, power windows, power door locks, and dual power mirrors. A power retractable soft top is available as an option.

The list continues with air conditioning, premium anti-theft AM/FM stereo with CD player and ten speakers, cruise control, and leatherette seating. Soft leather upholstery, heated seats, heated outside mirrors, and heated windshield washer jets come in a package for those in colder climes.

Other luxurious standards include four-way adjustable power seats, sport steering wheel, and a variety of other items to increase comfort.

The Premium Package adds leather seating, wood trim, and a power soft top, while the Sport Package adds sixteen-inch cross spoke alloy wheels and sport seats.
