2002 GMC Yukon Denali:
True to GMCs reputation for
tough trucks, the new 2002 GMC Yukon Denali AWD Sport
Utility tears a strip off the competition in the performance
department, yet still envelops its eight passengers
in a sea of comfort and convenience. This year, GMC
offers two powerful models - the Yukon Denali AWD Sport
Utility and the Yukon XL Denali AWD Sport Utility.
Beginning with the Yukon Denali
AWD Sport Utility, the safety standards are stacked
high with measures such as a driver depowered air bag,
passenger depowered air bag, side impact air bags, child
safety locks, and both front and rear head restraints
for extra protection.
Further, each vehicle is armed with
front fog lights and ABS brakes for added control. A
rear wiper and rear defroster keep the back window clear
for full visibility out all angles of the vehicle.
In the performance arena, the Yukon
Denali AWD Sport Utility has an incredibly powerful
eight-cylinder engine with center of vee camshaft, sequential
port fuel injection system, 320 horsepower and a whopping
365 lbs-ft of torque.
Each vehicle is built with four-wheel
full-time drive and equipped with all-terrain radials,
leaving no doubt that this thing can force its way through
the toughest, meanest back roads covered up to your
knees in mud and snow.
Although the GMC Yukon Denali AWD
Sport Utility boasts a great deal of power, luxuries
are not sacrificed and indeed enhance the package. Standards
include air conditioning, cruise control, and AM/FM
stereo with CD player, and opulent leather upholstery
and details.
Some of the other basics listed
are limited slip differential, remote keyless entry
system, power door locks, dual power outside mirrors,
and power windows. Each vehicle comes with a theft deterrent
system, and a moonroof/sunroof is offered as an option
for a cheerful ambience inside the plush cabin.

to 131.6 cubic feet.
