2002 Mercury Villager:

In the hunt for the perfect van this year, don’t overlook the new 2002 Mercury Villager Passenger Van. With three models to choose from and diverse features to meet your specific needs, it just may be the solution you’ve been searching for.

Each of the Mercury Villager Passenger Van, Mercury Villager Sport Passenger Van, and Mercury Villager Estate Passenger Van features four doors plus the rear gate, and a seating capacity of seven passengers in its comfortable interior.

The front-wheel drive Mercury Villager Passenger Van features a six-cylinder engine with SOHC, sequential port fuel injection system, 200 lbs-ft of torque, and 170 horsepower. Standard transmission is four-speed automatic, and each vehicle rolls along on all-season SBR tires.

Among the many comforts and conveniences passengers and drivers will appreciate are air conditioning, power windows, dual power outside mirrors, and power door locks. Cruise control is standard, as is the handy keyless entry system for times when your hands are too full to fumble around for the keys.

Safety features include child safety locks in the rear, front and rear head restraints, a driver depowered air bag, and a passenger depowered air bag. ABS brakes are an option you should take into serious consideration.
