At the start of the pack,
the Volkswagen Jetta GL Wagon features extensive safety
measures that include ABS brakes, side impact air bags,
passenger side air bag, driver side air bag, and both
front and rear head restraints. As well, Volkswagen
has installed child safety locks in the rear of each
of its vehicles for those with families.
The Volkswagen Jetta GL Wagon
sports a four-cylinder SOHC engine with sequential port
fuel injection system, 122 lbs-ft of torque, and a zippy
115 horsepower. Handling is excellent, and even accelerating
full-sped on the highway does not produce an excess
of vibration inside the cabin. Drive type is front wheel,
and standard transmission is five-speed manual. Automatic
transmission is available as an option for those who

swiftly. Traction control has also been added to the
package as a standard feature.

Rolling all of the safety,
luxury, and performance features of the previous models
into one package, the Volkswagen Jetta GLS VR6 Wagon
changes things just a bit by using regular gas, which
brings it to 174 horsepower but with 181 lbs-ft of torque.
The fuel economy rating drops slightly to 19/28 (city/hwy),
but the overall value of this model is quite remarkable.
