The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is an all-electric compact SUV. The EUV in its name stands for Electric Utility Vehicle. This model should not be confused with the Chevrolet Bolt EV, though it is built on the same platform. The EV is basically the hatchback version while the EUV is more of a crossover vehicle. The Bolt EUV has plenty of power and a great range on a single charge.

The Bolt EUV can get up to 60 miles-per-hour from a total stand still in just 7 seconds flat.

The all-electric powertrain has a range of 247 miles on a full charge. Charging is made easy with the addition of a 120-volt portable charge cord for the 1LT and a dual-level charge cord for the LT. This electric SUV can be charged at one of over 40,000 stations located throughout the country. Both cars come standard with 6-way manual seats up front. There's also a 60/40 split-folding seat in the rear that can fold down on one or both sides to add cargo and passenger carrying versatility to your vehicle. Both cars share the same heating and cooling system with its Automatic Climate Control. There's also a cabin air filter to maintain clean, fresh air.

Both trims come with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system. This features a large 10.2-inch HD touchscreen. There's an AM/FM stereo and six speakers placed strategically throughout the interior for impeccable sound quality. On the outside, the 2LT has 17-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with pockets that are painted in a color that Chevy calls Carbon Flash. These are paired with a set of Michelin Energy Saver all-season tires with Selfseal Technology to prevent complete flats.

On the exterior, the 2LT has black heated mirrors. Talking about the interior, the 2LT gets the option for an upgraded sound system - a premium audio system by Bose with seven speakers and a subwoofer. The 2 LT also has access to Adaptive Cruise Control. The vehicle not only can maintain a constant cruise speed, but can also detect the speed of the vehicle in front of it and keep a consistent gap between the vehicles.

In addition to the HD Rear-Vision Camera, the 2LT offers HD Surround View for even better driver awareness. Perforated-leather seat trim now comes standard for the 2LT. It also gets 2-way power lumbar controls for the driver's seat. This is only available as an option for the LT trim.

There aren't too many more differences to note when comparing these two trim levels. The Adaptive Cruise Control may be the biggest new perk. Fortunately, the price difference here is so small as to be negligible. It's also worth noting that the 2LT gets a slightly better range on a full charge. It comes in at around 259 miles while the previous trim gets up to 247 miles. This may be due to a slight difference in the weight of the two vehicles.

Compare the 2LT vs EUV Premier. What is the difference?

Moving up to the EUV Premier gets the buyer the best of what Chevrolet has to offer. This is the top-tier trim level for the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. It goes back down to offering a 247-mile range per full charge, but other than this is an improvement in all other areas. It's once again only a modest increase in price, making the EUV Premier a great bargain.

The recovery hooks make a return for this trim level. It also gets an illuminated charging port. A green ring of light makes it easier to see where the port is. There's also a charge-status indicator to keep track of how much juice the battery currently has. The exterior of the Premier model also gets some chrome trim and chrome body-side moldings.

The available Sun and Sound Package allows buyers to upgrade the infotainment system and enjoy a panoramic sunroof. Infotainment upgrades embrace a navigation system and the Bose premium audio system. The available Super Cruise Package allows for hands-free driver assistance on compatible roads, as well as Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking.

The Premier adds heating for the rear seats as well as for the front seats. Illuminated mirrors are added to the two visors up front. There's such a sparse increase in price between trim levels that there's really no reason to settle here. The Premier trim level offers excellent value. All models share the same powertrain and performance stats. The Premier gives buyers the best convenience features and technology at a great price.
