2019 Chevrolet Impala Color Options

The Chevrolet Impala is a great option for anyone looking for a full-size sedan that offers practicality, reliability, and comfort. It's a smart choice for drivers who want a car that has room for five, adequate cargo space in the trunk, and good fuel-efficiency. It also comes with some stylish details, and the appearance can be customized according to the customers' preferences.

There are several exterior colors to choose from as well as interior colors. In addition, customers can choose different trim levels that might come with different interior features like wheel styles, paneling, and materials used in the seats. The five different trims are: the LS, which comes with either a 2.5L engine or a 3.6L V6 engine; the LT, which can either have the standard 2.5L engine or a 3.6L V6; and the Premier, which has the 3.6L V6 engine powering it.

2019 Chevrolet Impala Exterior Colors

On the basic trim model - the LS - there are five choices for exterior colors. Those colors are Summit White and Black as well as Nightfall Gray, Blue Velvet, and Silver Ice, the latter of which are all Metallic. For the LT, those same colors are available along with Mosaic Black Metallic, Pepperdust Metallic, Cajun Red Tintcoat, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. On the Premium version of the 2019 Impala, all of the previously mentioned colors are options, with the exception of Summit White.

The Mosaic Black Metallic is a bit shinier than the standard black, since metallic paints have a small amount of powdered metal added to them. The result is a surface that can reflect light more effectively, especially when the vehicle is kept clean. Metallic paints have also been known to do a better job of hiding minor damage when viewed at a distance.

Cajun Red Tintcoat costs an additional $395, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat costs an additional $995. These prices reflect their exclusivity; they're not available on the basic trim. These types of premium paints are usually a bit more complicated to make, and that cost is passed on to the consumer in this case.

2019 Chevrolet Impala Interior Colors

On the interior of the LS Impala, one standard color scheme is offered. There are Jet Black and Dark Titanium materials used in the door and paneling, and the seats come with premium cloth and leatherette trim.

On the LT, there are several more interior colors and schemes to consider. In addition to getting the Jet Black and Dark Titanium combination, drivers can simply choose to have Jet Black materials with the premium cloth and leatherette seat trim. Customers could also get leather seats. These could come in all Jet Black, a Jet Black/Dark Titanium combination, or a Jet Black/Light Wheat combination. This last option would lighten things up if a brighter feel is preferred.

The Impala Premier comes with different materials on the interior. Rather than the standard leather found on the LT, it includes perforated leather-appointed seat trim. The colors - Jet Black, Jet Black/Dark Titanium, and Jet Black/Light Wheat - remain the same.

2019 Chevrolet Impala - Other Available Color Options

There are some other differences in terms of appearance and style on the various 2019 Chevrolet Impala trims. First, the LS comes with 18" steel wheels that have fascia-spoke wheel covers, the LT has 18" painted-aluminum wheels, and the Premier rides on 19" machined-face aluminum wheels. The larger wheels have a more custom look, but the difference might be negligible to some people.

The LS uses projector-beam halogen headlamps that can light the night, and the driver's seat is an eight-way power-adjustable product. The LT differs in many ways. The front passenger seat has lumbar control, the steering wheel and shift knob are wrapped in leather, and the outside mirrors are body-color, power-adjustable, and integrated with signal indicators and ground illumination.

The Premier trim for the 2019 Chevrolet Impala goes even further in terms of extras. Both front seats are heated, and the passenger can also enjoy having an eight-way, power-adjustable seat. The door handles and exterior mirror caps are made out of chrome, and chrome moldings line the lower bodyside of the sedan. LED daytime running lights are there for safety, and they're paired with high-intensity discharge headlamps. Another details is the dual-outlet exhaust, which has bright tips and is integrated into the rear fascia.

Conclusion

If purchasing a 2019 Impala, there is a lot to consider. The Premier level certainly has the most luxuries built into the vehicle, but the LT also has several upgrades in comparison with the standard LS. Color choices are somewhat varied but are mostly in the neutral family. The Cajun Red can stand out, though it comes at a price, and Blue Velvet strikes a cool tone. Overall, customers can decide whether they want the basic interior and exterior design touches or prefer something on the higher end.
