2019 Chevrolet Suburban Colors - Exterior & Interior Color Options
Color Guide • Advice2019 Chevrolet Suburban Color Options
The Chevrolet Suburban is an attractive option for many drivers because of the space and ruggedness that it offers. It can comfortably hold up to seven, eight, or nine passengers depending on the specific model that is chosen, with additional cargo space behind the third row. There are three trims for the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban, and each comes in a variety of colors and design schemes.
2019 Chevrolet Suburban Exterior Colors
Though the LS model is the most basic version, but there are still plenty of choices to make when customizing it. It comes in eight exterior colors. Two choices are Black and Summit White; the metallic options are Blue Velvet, Satin Steel, Pepperdust, Silver Ice, and Shadow Gray; and a premium color that's available is Siren Red Tintcoat.
The LT and Premium models come with all of those previously mentioned colors plus another premium color - Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. Those premium colors come at an additional cost. Siren Red Tintcoat costs $495, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat adds on $995 to the overall ticket price. This likely reflects the slightly more complex process involved in creating this paint.
White, silver tones, and black are popular colors to choose for vehicles in general. Large SUVs like the Suburban can appear stately when these types of colors are chosen. At the same time, a blue or red Suburban can really stand out when on the road. With a metallic paint, vehicles can shine a bit more in the light, and some drivers prefer to have more of a lustre on their SUVs. The shine of a paint can be a consideration when deciding between Summit White and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, for example, or between Black and Shadow Gray Metallic.
2019 Chevrolet Suburban Interior Colors
On the inside of the Suburban, there can be cloth or leather seats. Premium cloth seat trim in either Jet Black or Cocoa/Dune comes standard on the LS. Leather-appointed seat trim in either Jet Black, Jet Black/Dark Ash, or Cocoa/Dune comes on the LT. The Premier level includes perforated leather-appointed seat trims. Color choices are Jet Black, Cocoa/Dune, Jet Black/Mahogany, and Cocoa/Mahogany, the latter of which costs $295 above the base cost.
The dark colors may do a good job of hiding scratches, scuffs, smudges, and stains. They may also pair well with sleek exterior colors that are gray, silver, or black. On the other hand, having lighter browns and tans on the interior can create an elegant feel and can certainly lighten things up.
2019 Chevrolet Suburban - Other Available Color Options
Standard on the LS and LT are 18" aluminum wheels with high-polished finish, body-color front and rear fascia, black roof-mounted side rails, deep-tinted glass on the rear windows, and textured black assist steps located between the wheel wells. What could be different between the two models is the rear fascia, which can come with a trailer hitch close out on the LT.
The Premium 2019 Chevrolet Suburban comes with fog lamps, 20" polished aluminum wheels, high-intensity discharge headlamps, bright accents on the roof-mounted side rails, and chrome accent strips on the assist steps. It's also the only model that comes with a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel as part of its package.
There are several wheel options for drivers who want to customize this part of their SUVs. 20" polished aluminum wheels, 22" 5-spoke bright machined wheels, 22" 6-spoke black wheels, and 22" 7-spoke silver wheels among the choices. Further, splash guards, bowtie emblems, chrome grille inserts, illuminated door sill plates, and recovery tips are some of the accessories that can be added on individually or as part of a package.
One of the packages that can be chosen is the All-Season Package, which costs approximately $2,280. It comes with all-weather floor mats and a cargo mat, body-color bodyside moldings, black roof-rack cross rails, and 20" x 9" polished aluminum wheels. Another one - the Enhanced Driver Alert Package that costs $695 - comes with IntelliBeam headlamps and power-adjustable pedals in addition to other safety features, and an Interior Protection Package offered for $250 comes with two products: premium all-weather floor mats and an all-weather cargo mat.
Conclusion
There are several things to think about when purchasing a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban, including exterior and interior colors. Brighter tones like Siren Red, Blue Velvet, Silver Ice, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat may be on the top of some people's lists, whereas others may prefer something dark and more muted like Black or Shadow Gray. Overall, it comes down to personal preference, both in terms of basic color preferences and the atmosphere that someone would like to create inside the cabin.
