2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Color Options

The Tahoe is an attractive option for anyone looking for a powerful, full-size SUV. It can comfortably fit up to seven or eight people, depending on the model. The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe is capable of conquering any terrain with its powerful engine, and it can do so in style. When getting one of these SUVs, the colors and design features can be customized. There are three available trims: the LS, LT, and Premier.

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Exterior Colors

There are eight different exterior color choices on the LS. Black and Summit White are the basic colors, and there are also several shinier, metallic colors. Silver Ice, Blue Velvet, Satin Steel, Shadow Gray, and Pepperdust are all metallic paints. If anyone prefers to drive a brightly colored SUV, Siren Red Tintcoat - a premium paint- is available for an additional $495.

Many of these colors are in the gray/silver family. Silver Ice Metallic is the lightest of the trio, with Satin Steel Metallic being in the middle and Shadow Gray Metallic falling at the darker end of the spectrum.

On the LT and Premium, there are the same choices with the addition of Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. This is a premium paint as well, and it costs $995. This color has a little more depth than Summit White and has a slightly creamier appearance.

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Interior Colors

On the Tahoe LS, the interior can either be dark or light. A Jet Black and Cocoa/Dune color scheme are both available, and cloth seat trim is standard. At the next two levels, the Tahoe comes with leather-appointment seats. The two previously mentioned color schemes are still options, as is a Jet Black/Dark Ash combination. With black and gray in various parts of the cabin, this combination features more contrast than the Jet Black interior color.

The LS front seats are made out of premium cloth, and the second and third row cloth seats come in a 60/40 split-bench configuration. The LT front seats are heated and come with 10-way power seat adjusters. The Premier front seats are heated and ventilated, with perforated leather, and they come with 12-way seat adjusters. The second row is heated as well, and the third row has a power-folding feature.

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe - Other Available Color Options

If the basic LS is selected, there are several add-ons that can be included. For example, illuminated front door sill plates cost $420, all-weather floor liners for all three rows costs $330, and a reflective window shade costs $110. On the exterior of the vehicle, optional accessories include deflectors in either chrome or black, chrome door handles, black outside rearview mirror covers, and black or chrome license plate frames. Roof rack cross rails, various types of assist steps, splash guards, standard and illuminated Chevy bowtie emblems, and chrome grille inserts can be included with the SUV.

Many of those same options are also offered on the other trims. Starting on the LT, outside rearview mirror covers can come in chrome in addition to black. Fog lamps, heated power auto-dimming outside mirrors, and a hands-free power programmable liftgate are available on the LT and standard on the Premium.

There are numerous choices of wheels and tires. Standard on the LS are 18" aluminum wheels with high-polished finish. At that same size, black-painted aluminum and painted aluminum wheels can be selected at no additional cost. Larger products like the 20" polished aluminum wheels, the 22" 6-spoke Black wheels, and the 22" 7-spoke silver wheels with chrome inserts cost extra. There are all-season blackwall tires corresponding to all of these size wheels, and at the 18" size, there are also Goodyear DuraTrac tires.

Differences for the LT and Premier trims are minimal. On the LT, the list of wheel choices is the same as on the LS, and 18" all-terrain blackwall tires are an addition to the line-up. On the Premium, 20" polished aluminum wheels are standard, and the wheels can come in chrome for an extra $400.

Conclusion

There are many things to consider when picking out a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. Not only can drivers choose whether to get a 5.3L or 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine and 2WD or 4WD, but they can also set up their exterior and interior colors according to their preferences. Many of the exterior paints have a metallic shine to them, helping the Tahoe stand out on the road, and Satin White and Black are classic colors. With all the custom options that can be added on, the chances are high that anyone can find a Tahoe that they would enjoy driving.
